1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using the Sevn Journeys LLC website (“Sevn Journeys,” “we,” “us,” “our,” or “the website”), you (“you,” “your,” “client,” or “user”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms,” “Terms and Conditions”). Sevn Journeys LLC is a Maryland-registered limited liability company providing curated luxury travel planning and concierge services. By using our website, submitting a travel inquiry, or engaging with our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of our website and services immediately.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates. Continued use of our website or services after any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If material changes are made that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you—such as via email, pop-up alerts, or posted announcements on our website. However, it remains your responsibility to stay informed of the most current version of these Terms.

2. ELIGIBILITY

  1. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our website or services.
  1. By using this website or booking services through Sevn Journeys, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law.

3. CLIENT COMMUNICATION & INFORMATION SUBMISSION

To request or book travel services through Sevn Journeys, you may be required to submit personal and travel-related information via our website, inquiry forms, or communication channels. By doing so, you hereby agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information to enable us to fulfill your travel requests, promptly update us if any submitted information (e.g., contact details, passport info, travel preferences) changes and use only authorized communication methods and avoid submitting false, misleading, or third-party information without consent. Please note that while we do not require the creation of a user account at this time, any secure access credentials we provide (e.g., a private travel portal or itinerary dashboard) must be kept confidential. You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through such access. Sevn Journeys reserves the right to restrict access or cancel services in the event of suspected fraud, misuse, or violation of these Terms.

4. PRIVACY POLICY

Your use of our website and services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By submitting travel inquiries, booking services, or interacting with our platform, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.

We encourage all users to review the Privacy Policy regularly, especially before providing sensitive travel or identification information. Our commitment to safeguarding your privacy is central to how we deliver personalized and secure travel services.

5. PAYMENT & BOOKING POLICY

5.1. General Payment Terms

By requesting services from Sevn Journeys LLC, including custom travel planning, itinerary design, concierge arrangements, or add-on experiences, you agree to the payment terms outlined below. All fees for services rendered must be paid as outlined in your invoice or service agreement. Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of payment, unless otherwise noted in writing.

5.2. Custom Travel Planning Fees

Sevn Journeys charges a non-refundable planning fee for personalized travel design. This fee reflects the time, expertise, and resources invested in curating custom travel experiences. The planning fee does not include the cost of hotels, flights, tours, or third-party services unless explicitly stated.

  1. Planning fees vary based on trip complexity, number of travelers, and destination(s).
  1. The scope of services and deliverables will be detailed prior to payment.
  1. Planning fees must be paid in full before itinerary research or reservations begin.

5.3. Supplier Payments & Deposits

Most travel bookings arranged by Sevn Journeys involve third-party suppliers such as hotels, airlines, cruise lines, and tour operators. These suppliers may require full or partial payment upfront, including non-refundable deposits.

  1. Clients are responsible for reading and accepting the terms of each supplier before confirming bookings.
  1. Sevn Journeys will facilitate payments to third-party vendors on your behalf, when applicable.
  1. Final payment deadlines vary by supplier and will be communicated in writing.

5.4. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept major credit and debit cards through secure third-party processors such as Stripe. Bank transfers or alternative methods may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Full payment instructions will be included in your invoice or service agreement.

Note: Sevn Journeys does not store full payment details on its servers.

5.5. Refund Policy

Due to the bespoke nature of travel planning, all Sevn Journeys service fees are non-refundable once payment is made. Refunds for supplier bookings (flights, hotels, tours, etc.) are subject to the individual supplier’s terms and cancellation policies.

  1. If a supplier offers a partial or full refund, we will assist in securing it on your behalf.
  1. Sevn Journeys is not responsible for denied refunds or supplier insolvency.
  1. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your trip investment.

5.6. Changes & Cancellations

If you request changes to your confirmed itinerary, we will accommodate where possible. Additional charges may apply depending on the extent of changes and supplier policies.

  1. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
  1. Sevn Journeys does not offer refunds for unused portions of your trip once travel has commenced.

5.7. Disputes & Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without contacting Sevn Journeys first may result in suspension of services. We are committed to resolving disputes professionally and ask that you contact us at support@sevnjourneys.com with any concerns.

5.8. Pricing Updates

Sevn Journeys reserves the right to update service fees or supplier rates at any time. Pricing for third-party travel components is subject to availability and fluctuation and is only guaranteed once payment has been made.

5.9. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to decline or terminate services at any time due to non-payment, policy violations, or client behavior that hinders our ability to perform our work ethically or efficiently. In such cases, all fees paid to date will be non-refundable.

6. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

6.1. Accurate and Timely Information

Clients of Sevn Journeys LLC are expected to provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information necessary for the proper planning and execution of their travel experience. This includes but is not limited to providing your full legal name as it appears on your passport or government-issued identification, submitting valid passport details and visa statuses, and sharing any additional documentation or personal preferences required to facilitate bookings. You must also supply reliable emergency contact information and disclose any dietary restrictions, mobility or accessibility needs, medical considerations, or other personal preferences that could impact your travel arrangements. Failure to provide accurate or timely information may result in delays, booking errors, or the need for itinerary changes, which could incur additional costs or limit available options. Sevn Journeys will not be held responsible for any such consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete client-submitted information.

6.2. Review of Travel Documents

You are responsible for carefully reviewing all travel documents provided by Sevn Journeys LLC to ensure accuracy and completeness. These documents may include but are not limited to personalized itineraries, flight tickets, hotel confirmations, transfer schedules, cruise details, and activity vouchers. Once documents are delivered to you, you must report any discrepancies, errors, or omissions within forty-eight (48) hours. This timeframe allows for correction or clarification before travel arrangements become non-refundable or subject to change fees by third-party providers. Sevn Journeys is not liable for missed services, denied boarding, or other disruptions caused by document errors that were not identified and reported within the stated review window.

6.3. Passport, Visa, and Entry Requirements

It is solely your responsibility to ensure that all travelers in your party possess valid passports, visas, and any additional entry documentation required by the destination country or transit locations. While Sevn Journeys can provide general guidance and information regarding travel requirements, it remains your obligation to consult with official government sources, embassies, or consulates to confirm specific documentation needs, including minimum passport validity, visa application procedures, health certifications, or vaccination records. Entry refusals, missed flights, trip cancellations, or additional expenses resulting from incomplete, expired, or improper travel documentation will not be eligible for refunds or compensation from Sevn Journeys.

6.4. Acceptance to Supplier Terms and Conditions

Sevn Journeys partners with third-party providers including, but not limited to, airlines, cruise lines, hotel chains, tour operators, ground transportation services, and local guides. You agree to be bound by the specific terms, conditions, and policies imposed by these service providers. These may include rules related to cancellations, refunds, rebookings, baggage allowances, check-in procedures, tour participation requirements, and other conditions of service. Sevn Journeys will communicate these terms to you when applicable and facilitate booking confirmations, but it is your duty to read and understand the policies of each vendor involved in your travel itinerary. Non-compliance with a supplier’s terms may result in denied services, forfeiture of payment, or travel interruptions, for which Sevn Journeys is not liable.

6.5. Payments and Deadlines

You are responsible for making all payments required by Sevn Journeys and its affiliated providers by the deadlines outlined in your invoice, service agreement, or email communication. Payments may include planning fees, deposits, or final balances for travel bookings. Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of reservations, forfeiture of deposits, or loss of access to preferred rates and availability. Sevn Journeys is not obligated to hold reservations or proceed with itinerary planning in the absence of payment and assumes no liability for missed services resulting from non-payment or late payment on your part.

6.6. Travel Insurance Recommendation

Although not required, Sevn Journeys strongly advises all clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, emergency medical care, lost baggage, natural disasters, and supplier defaults. Travel plans are inherently subject to unexpected changes, and insurance can provide financial protection and peace of mind in the event of unforeseen disruptions. By choosing not to purchase travel insurance, you acknowledge that you are assuming the full risk of financial loss related to cancellations, emergencies, or supplier insolvency. Sevn Journeys does not process insurance claims and is not liable for costs that could have been covered by a suitable travel insurance policy.

6.7. Conduct and Safety During Travel

As a client of Sevn Journeys, you agree to conduct yourself respectfully, lawfully, and in accordance with the customs and regulations of each destination you visit. Disruptive, unlawful, or inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to harassment, intoxication, refusal to comply with local laws, or failure to follow the directions of tour guides, may result in removal from services without refund. Sevn Journeys is not responsible for any penalties, fines, legal consequences, missed travel services, or personal injuries resulting from your conduct or actions during travel. You are expected to prioritize your own safety, comply with local advisories, and remain informed of any travel warnings or health alerts relevant to your trip.

6.8. Entry and Exit Requirements Based on Criminal History

It is solely the Client’s responsibility to verify and comply with the entry and exit requirements of each country included in their travel itinerary, especially if they have a current or prior criminal offense. Entry policies vary by country, and even minor past offenses may affect admissibility. Sevn Journeys does not inquire about your criminal history in order to protect your privacy and does not assume responsibility for denied entry due to criminal records. Clients are expected to contact the appropriate embassy or consulate for each country of travel or consult the U.S. State Department for official information at https://travel.state.gov. For example, travelers with a Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) record should be aware that entry into Canada may be restricted; see Canada Immigration Guidelines for details.

6.9. Compliance with Hazardous Materials Restrictions

Clients are personally responsible for ensuring that they do not bring prohibited hazardous materials on board any aircraft as part of their travel. U.S. federal law strictly prohibits carrying hazardous materials in luggage or on your person, including but not limited to flammable liquids, explosives, compressed gases, oxidizers, and radioactive substances. Violations may result in severe criminal and civil penalties, including imprisonment and fines up to $250,000 (49 U.S.C. 5124). Limited exceptions may apply for small quantities of personal-use medicinal or toiletry items (up to 70 ounces total). Clients must check directly with the relevant airline(s) on their itinerary for specific rules. A current list of prohibited items is available on the TSA website at https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/prohibited-items.

6.10. Insecticide Treatment Awareness

Some countries require that aircraft cabins be treated with insecticides either prior to boarding or while in-flight. It is the Client’s responsibility to be aware of such practices and determine whether they have any sensitivities or concerns. Sevn Journeys recommends that Clients review the U.S. Department of Transportation’s list of countries with disinsection requirements, available at https://www.transportation.gov/airconsumer/spray.

6.11. Health, Immunizations, and Documentation

Clients are fully responsible for securing all required health screenings, immunizations, vaccinations, and associated documentation needed for entry into any destination included in their itinerary. This may include COVID-19 testing or vaccination records, yellow fever certificates, or other health-related documentation. Sevn Journeys does not assume responsibility for the accuracy of health information or vaccination requirements and does not verify medical documentation. In certain countries, immunizations must be recorded by a licensed healthcare provider on an official vaccination certificate, which must be carried by the traveler. Clients are strongly encouraged to consult with their personal healthcare provider before booking and to review guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control (https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel) and the U.S. State Department (https://travel.state.gov) for the most up-to-date health and safety recommendations.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

7.1 Ownership

All content and materials displayed on the Sevn Journeys LLC website, including but not limited to our logo, branding, text, images, graphics, layout, and any proprietary technology or tools we use (“Sevn Journeys Content”), are the exclusive property of Sevn Journeys LLC or its licensors. These materials are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Use of our website does not grant you ownership or rights to any part of our content unless explicitly authorized in writing.

7.2 Trademarks

The Sevn Journeys name, logo, and branding elements are protected trademarks. You may not use, reproduce, or display them in any manner without our prior written consent.

7.3 Limited Use and Restrictions

You agree not to copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, or create derivative works based on any part of the Sevn Journeys website or content without our written permission. You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse our materials, tools, or technology for commercial purposes.

7.4 Enforcement

We reserve the right to protect and enforce our intellectual property through legal means. Unauthorized use of Sevn Journeys Content may result in termination of services and appropriate legal action.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Sevn Journeys LLC acts solely as an intermediary between you and third-party travel service providers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, and transportation companies. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, errors, negligence, or delays of any third-party provider, nor for any injury, loss, accident, damage, delay, or irregularity which may arise (directly or indirectly) from their services or failure to perform. Under no circumstances shall Sevn Journeys LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, emotional distress, lost profits, or costs associated with trip interruption, cancellation, or rescheduling. This applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our maximum aggregate liability to any client for any claim or dispute shall not exceed the total planning fee paid to Sevn Journeys LLC for the travel services directly related to the claim. All third-party service bookings are governed by their own terms and conditions, and clients are encouraged to read and understand those terms before confirming services. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sevn Journeys LLC, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of our services or your violation of these Terms.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

Sevn Journeys LLC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, labor disputes, government actions, border closures, disease outbreaks, epidemics, pandemics, technical failures, airline insolvency, supplier bankruptcy, or other events that make travel unsafe, impossible, or commercially unreasonable. In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to work with suppliers to reschedule, rebook, or recover partial refunds where possible, but we do not guarantee any outcome and are not responsible for supplier policies, loss of funds, or additional expenses incurred due to force majeure circumstances. Clients are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers such disruptions and to regularly monitor government travel advisories for destination-specific updates.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of your relationship with Sevn Journeys LLC shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any legal action or proceeding between the parties shall be brought exclusively in a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction located in Maryland. Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us at info@sevnjourneys.com and providing a written summary of your concern. Both parties agree to make a good faith effort to resolve any issue through direct communication within thirty (30) days of notice.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through informal means, both parties agree to submit the matter to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Arbitration shall take place in Maryland and shall be conducted in English. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You agree that any claim brought against Sevn Journeys LLC must be brought in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. By engaging our services, you expressly waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service, and any disputes or claims arising from your use of Sevn Journeys LLC’s services, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that Maryland courts shall have jurisdiction over any legal or equitable action arising under these Terms, subject to the Dispute Resolution clause outlined above.

12. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable for any reason by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the remaining terms. The remainder of the Terms shall remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be interpreted, if possible, in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect the original intent of the parties.

13. MISCELLANEOUS

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and any written travel proposals or service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sevn Journeys LLC and supersede all prior oral or written communications relating to the subject matter herein. No waiver by Sevn Journeys of any breach or default shall be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach or default. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Sevn Journeys may assign or transfer its rights without restriction. Headings used in these Terms are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of any provision. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
